Music List
I love music, every kind. But rarely am I happy with what I hear these days.
Dar Williams -- The Honesty Room & The Mortal City
I can't paste everything I want to into this tiny fucked up space WL gives us, so go be touched at http://www.lyricscafe.com/w/williams_dar/021.htm
Ani DiFranco -- Canon
I have been listening to Ani DiFranco longer than you. I promise. Except for maybe 1% of the people who read this, and you don't count, smuggy.
Alison Krauss & Robert Plant -- Raising Sand
Smooth and earthy. That's not a dig at Robert Plant, but the music grows on you very quickly. Okay, that wasn't a pun either. Just pluck it out of the stacks. (shameless,en't I)
Ingrid Michaelson - Slow the Rain
Want something mellow, quirky, and eclectic? Want something that will stick to your brain like candy? Want something that makes your heart melt to a rhythm? Buy or steal this album. Her second album, not as good.
Tunng: Good Arrows
How in the hell can I possibly describe this album. It defies it. But, it's one of my favorite albums ever. Take an eclectic mix of sound clips, roosters, cool rhythms, background conversations, tones of happiness and contentment. What is indietronica?

I Am Legend
The Lord of the Rings: Trilogy
Fight Club
Best Websites Ever
Here's a list of my favorite websites.
Neil Gaiman
Neil Gaiman is one of the best writers I've ever read. I haven't been through his whole repertory yet, but I'm making progress. If he'd only wait for me to get finished before he published anymore, but every day he just spews out more and more.
Books Free
Reading words is fun. But when you're driving or mowing the lawn, you can't read, well, that's why God made audiobooks.
The Areas of My Expertise - John Hodgeman
You've seen him on The Daily Show as the show's Resident Expert, as well as PC on the Macintosh commercials with the dreamy Gen Y dude that everyone recognizes but so far no one in America can name. Go here for the truth and go hear some truth.
Chuck Palahniuk's The Cult
Chuck Palahniuk is another of my literary heroes. Cynic, nihilist, anarchist (in the best sense of that term). You just can't go wrong.
Daily Strength
If you're looking for a place to discuss your problems--and everyone has problems these days, whether from unhealthy relationships, to depression, to drug abuse, to just feeling alone--this is a great place to find people who are just like you.
A Prairie Home Companion
"Some luck lies in not getting what you thought you wanted but getting what you have, which once you have got it you may be smart enough to see is what you would have wanted had you known." -- G. Keillor
The Cloud Appreciation Society
Like clouds? Okay then, do you like incredible sights? Go to this website and you'll be amazed.
